Thomas A. Olszewski, 61, Longtime Danbury Resident

DANBURY, Conn. - Thomas A. Olszewski of Danbury died Thursday, Sept. 12. He was 61.

Olszewski was born Aug. 17, 1952, in Yonkers, N.Y., son of Eleanor (Manzi) Olszewski and Anthony Olszewski. He earned his engineering degree from the University of Bridgeport, and also earned degrees in mathematics and education from Western Connecticut State University. A Danbury resident since 1974, he was an engineer with Duracell Corporation of Bethel.

Olszewski is survived by his wife, Linda (Bohnik) Olszewski; son, Luke T. Olszewski of Charlotte, N.C.; and daughter, Victoria L. Bollenback (Justin) of Safety Harbor, Fla. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.  Saturday, Oct. 12 at St. Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Road, Danbury.
