Curran was born Sept., 23, 1932, to Fred and Florence (Stuart) Burns. She worked for many years and retired from Pace University in Pleasantville, as an academic advisor. After retiring, she worked as a volunteer at the Thrift Store at St. Patrick's Church where she was also a parishioner.
Curran is survived by her husband, Frank P. Curran, Jr.; sons, Frank P. Curran III (Lesley), Doug Curran; two grandchildren, Frank P. Curran IV and Destiny Curran. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Donald Burns.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at St. Patrick's Church in Verplanck. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, also in Verplanck.
