Bryan Andrew Taylor was found intoxicated and sleeping under a tree by police who came to check up on his 4-year-old child left home alone, around 11:35 p.m. Monday, March 25, Prince William County police said.

Officers were called to the scene by concerned neighbors. Taylor was found under a tree in an adjacent row of homes.

The child was not injured. Taylor was charged with felony child neglect, obstruction of justice, and public intoxication. He was held on $5,000 bond.
